Wick Clothier
412 Squash Coach
Wick Clothier has been a coach for 412 Squash since 2021.Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Wick played squash at the Merion Cricket Club. He was a founding member of Radnor High School's squash team, one of the first public high school squash teams in the country. He played number one for their team.
Wick went on to play all four years on the varsity squash team at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. After finishing college, Wick worked as a program manager for U.S. Squash, the national governing body, in New York City.
Having decided to enter coaching, Wick landed a position at the renowned New York Athletic Club, as well as The River Club of New York. He also served as a partner and managing director in Squash Solutions, a private family coaching company specializing in tournament coaching programs.
Wick went on to become the Head Squash Professional at Equinox in Washington D.C. where he spent three years successfully expanding the membership and fostering a vibrant squash community. Having subsequently settled in Connecticut, Wick took a position at Ox Ridge Riding and Racquet Club where he coached and expanded the junior program.
