Our Adult Squash Clinics provide a clear progression for all players. Level 1 – Beginners teaches the basics and helps you learn to play. Level 2 – Squash Essentials is perfect for players with limited experience looking to build confidence and refine technique. Level 3 – Intermediate focuses on strategy, consistency, and stronger match play.

We also offer Game Play Analysis, where you compete in matches and receive real-time coaching to quickly elevate your performance.

Adult Level 1

Clinic Description

Start at the beginning by building a strong foundational understanding of the game. Perfect for those who have never played squash before, Learn to Play Adult clinics at 412 Squash will provide students with an introduction to the sport of squash and provide each student with the knowledge and skills necessary to feel confident playing the sport on their own with friends and family. Through the duration of the course, our staff will teach students the basic rules, strategies, and fundamentals of playing squash in a fast paced manner focused on getting a great workout filled with fun, competition and sweat!

Requirements

  • No equipment or experience playing necessary. Non-marking athletic soled shoes and athletic attire required.

Goals 

By the end of the Level One Class, all students should:

  • Feel confident rallying with a coach  on the squash court

  • Have an understanding of the basic rules, strategies, and techniques of the sport

  • Have had fun playing and learning a new activity!

Adult Level 2

Clinic Description

Learn the essentials of squash to prepare for competitive play. Our coaches will cover all aspects of the game and provide players with a solid foundation to continue their squash journey through structured drills and focusing on learning new shots, developing technique and strategy.

 

Requirements

  • No equipment required but some experience playing necessary. Non-marking athletic soled shoes and athletic attire required.

Goals 

By the end of the Level Two Class, all students should:

  • Feel confident keeping score and playing a squash match

  • Have an understanding of what a let, stroke, and no let is and how to move effectively on the squash court

  • Feel more consistent and confident in playing all types of squash shots

  • Have had fun competing and making new friends!

Adult Level 3
Coed

Clinic Description

Get ready to elevate your game! These sessions will focus on refining technique and strategy and developing advanced shots and tactics. Level 3 Intermediate Clinics combine intensive drill play and pressure feeding from coaches alongside competitive conditioned games to reinforce new shots, movement, and patterns of play into each player’s game to take their games to the next level. This clinic is ideal for students who have extensive experience playing squash and are looking to improve their games by developing more court awareness and new skills.

 

Requirements

  • To enroll, students should have previous squash experience and a US Squash recommended rating of 3.5 +. Additionally, students are responsible for bringing their own squash equipment and coming to class in appropriate athletic attire.

Goals 

By the end of the Level Three Class, all students should:

  • Feel confident competing in tournaments and developing a structured game plan

  • Have a better understanding of court awareness and positioning

  • Learn how to set up points, play to personal strengths, and exploit opponents weaknesses

  • Improve footwork, balance, spacing, and movement on court

  • Work on endurance and stamina during high-intensity play

You'll not only develop your game but also connect with new playing partners in a vibrant community setting. It's the perfect way for adults (ages 19+) to experience the thrilling fun of squash!

 

Requirements

  • Experience: some experience playing squash is necessary.

  • Equipment: Loaner equipment provided; personal purchase encouraged.

  • Attire: Non-marking athletic shoes and athletic attire required.

  • Personal Items: Bring your own water bottle and hand towel.

Goals 

By the end of the course, all students:

  • should feel confident scoring and playing a full squash match

  • will have gained significant match play experience and a deeper understanding of strategy in a fun, social setting
