To make your visit as seamless as possible, please review our policies.
FACILITY POLICIES
Dress/Equipment Code
-
Non-marking sneakers (no running shoes) must be worn at all times while on court. A fee may be charged for damage to courts due to improper footwear.

Protective eyewear is required while on court.
-
Players should wear athletic attire. White attire is not required.
-
Players should bring their own water bottle and towel if needed.
-
No outside exercise or practice equipment is permitted in the 412 Squash Center except that which is necessary to play squash (shoes, goggles, racket).
Guidelines for Players and Parents

All players must have a reservation to enter our facilities and have filled out all required registration and waiver forms.
-
Players must vacate the 412 Squash Center after the end of their allocated time for clinics, lessons, or court rentals.

The 412 Squash Association has the right to revoke attendance at any clinic if a student is not in adherence with our policies.
-
Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times while inside the 412 Squash Center.
-
Children under the age of 18 must be registered in the 412 Squash management platform under a parent or legal guardian who is legally and financially responsible for the child.

The 412 Squash Association reserves the right to invoke closed practices with no spectators if deemed necessary for specific programs, dates, and times.
-
Parents are not permitted to interrupt their child or other children’s lessons with questions for the instructors.

If a student is feeling under the weather and specifically experiencing a fever or contagious disease, please be considerate of others by keeping your child home for a minimum of 48 hours.

Outside food or beverage is not permitted in the 412 Squash Center.

Spectators are not permitted to use any other areas at 412 East 90th Street other than the 412 Squash Center. They are also required to enter and exit the building as directed by the Campus Safety team on premises.

When using the 412 Squash app, users agree to the Playbypoint Terms of Use.
MEMBERSHIP AND GUEST POLICIES
Membership Policies
-
The 412 Squash Association offers four membership tiers: Youth, Adult, Family, and Morning Court Memberships. Monthly memberships (with or without auto-renewal) are available for youth, adults, families, and morning court rentals. Yearly memberships do not auto-renew. Details and pricing can be found on the 412 Squash website.

Memberships are required for participation in clinics, lessons, and court rentals.

Morning Court, Youth, and Adult Memberships include 1 free guest per month; Family Memberships include 2 free guests per month. Additional nonmember guests are $10 each. Guest passes expire monthly, do not roll over, and are non-transferable.

Memberships are non-transferable and take effect on the date of purchase.

Once purchased, members may not pause their membership.

Memberships are nonrefundable. Partial or prorated refunds will not be honored for canceled memberships.

To cancel an automatically renewing membership, email a written request to info@412squash.org at least 30 days before the next renewal date

A member may upgrade their membership to a higher level of membership and pay the difference in price.

The 412 Squash Association has the right to revoke membership if a member is not adhering to our facility policies and code of conduct.
Guest Policies
-
Non-members must download the 412 Squash or Playbypoint app, create a profile, and sign the liability waiver prior to arriving at the 412 Squash Center.

Guests must be accompanied by their hosting member at all times while in the 412 Squash Center.

The 412 Squash Association does not accommodate walk-ins.
CLINIC POLICIES

Membership to the 412 Squash Association is required to participate in clinics.
-
Non-members are permitted to enroll in one introductory clinic session for a fee.
-
All clinics must be paid for in advance.
-
All registration and waiver forms must be completed prior to participating in a clinic.
-
An ability assessment by a 412 Squash coach may be required for a player's placement in a junior competition squad.

Clinics are offered on a seasonal basis. Fall (Sep - Dec), Winter (Jan - March), Spring (April - June), and Summer (Jul - Aug). Seasonal group clinics are paid for on a use it or lose it basis. Credits are not offered for missed sessions and there are no make up sessions.

Players are expected to attend all clinic sessions. Individual class credits or make-up sessions will not be granted in the case of missed classes unless the player has an injury, long-term illness, or medical procedure that prohibits them from participating.

In the case of an injury, long-term illness, or medical procedure, a medical form signed by a physician must be emailed to the 412 Squash Association at info@412squash.org. The 412 Squash Association will issue an account balance for any remaining sessions.

In the event that the 412 Squash Association has to cancel a clinic, a club credit for the corresponding amount will be issued for future use.
-
An administrative fee may be applied for schedule changes requested after clinic registration is finalized.
ROUND ROBIN POLICIES
-
Membership is not required to attend an adult round robin. Both members and non-members may register through the 412 Squash app.
-
A 24-hour notice is required to cancel and receive club credit for a future round robin. Cancellations can be made through the 412 Squash app, or by emailing info@412squash.org. If cancellation notice is received less than 24 hours before the appointment, or not at all, no club credit will be issued.
LESSON POLICIES

Membership is required to book lessons. All lessons must be paid for in advance.

Lessons are sold on a seasonal basis and can be purchased individually or in a package.
-
The 412 Squash Association offers private lessons for one player with one coach, as well as group lessons of up to 4 players with one coach.
-
Lesson requests can be made by emailing info@412squash.org or completing a lesson request form found on the 412 Squash website.
-
Non-members are permitted to enroll in one introductory lesson for a fee. Introductory lessons must be booked in advance by emailing info@412squash.org.
-
Priority time slots for lessons are given to players who are enrolled in clinics.
-
While the 412 Squash Association does its best to accommodate requests for specific instructors, we cannot guarantee specific requests and/or ensure that the instructor will be the same for every single lesson. Instructors for a given lesson are subject to change at any time and we do not credit for substitute instructors.

To respect 412 instructors’ time, a 48-hour notice is required to cancel a private lesson or group session to receive a club credit for the corresponding amount. Cancellations and reschedule requests can be made by emailing info@412squash.org. Rescheduling is subject to instructor and court availability. If cancellation notice is received less than 48 hours before the appointment, or not at all, no club credit will be issued.

COURT RENTAL POLICIES

Members are permitted to book unlimited court rentals.

Non-members are permitted to book six court rentals over the course of a calendar year.

Court rentals cost $20 and entitle the player to 45 minutes on one court.

Court rental availability will be limited to hours when a court monitor is on site.

Court rentals reservations can be booked through the 412 Squash Association App. Players cannot arrive at the 412 Squash Center without a reservation, nor can they book a court at the 412 Squash Center.

A maximum of three players per court rental is permitted.
-
Players must vacate the court at the end of their reservation time.
-
Players under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.
-
No outside coaches will be permitted to provide private lessons to members or guests on the premises of the 412 Squash Association.
-
No outside equipment or ball machines may be used during a court rental session.
-
No balls or loaner equipment are provided for court rentals.

A 24-hour notice is required to cancel a court rental and receive a club credit for the corresponding amount. Cancellations can be made through the 412 Squash app, or by emailing info@412squash.org. Rescheduling is subject to court availability. If cancellation notice is received less than 24 hours before the appointment, or not at all, no club credit will be issued.
