Henry Pearson

412 Squash Coach

A disciple of legendary squash coach, Peter Briggs, Henry Pearson grew up playing squash at The Apawamis Club and achieved junior success before moving on to play in the number four position at Middlebury College. 

 

For over eight years, Henry has coached squash at various clubs, including Yue Squash Club (Beijing), The Racquet and Tennis Club (New York), Sleepy Hollow Country Club (Briarcliff Manor, NY), and 412 Squash. His coaching philosophy focuses on helping players of all ages and skill levels develop strong technique, identify patterns of play, and improve their tactical awareness.

 

Henry's experience goes beyond coaching at 412 Squash. Most recently, he worked as a math teacher at STEMCivics Charter School in Trenton, NJ, where he also founded and coached their middle school squash team. Henry is currently pursuing a Master's degree at Teachers College, Columbia University.
