Jared Scherl

Growing up in New Jersey, Jared built a lifelong passion for squash that began on the competitive U.S. Junior Squash circuit. He went on to take his talents to the collegiate level, competing for the Cornell University squash team. During his senior year, he capped off his leadership on the team by serving as captain, ultimately graduating in 2020 with a degree in Psychology.

Jared's foundation in coaching was established early on at the prestigious Cornell Squash Camps under the mentorship of former world champion David Palmer, where he specialized in helping junior players refine their technical foundations and build on-court confidence. Since 2021, he has brought his expertise to The River Club in New York City, where he serves as a coach dedicated to elevating the games of players spanning all ages and skill levels.
