Samuel Lew

412 Squash Coach

Samuel Lew began playing squash in the Boston area at a young age, training through TOG before further developing his game through Thierry Lincou's clinic and later a summer in France. He went on to play four years of varsity squash at Phillips Exeter Academy, competing at the number one position during his junior and senior seasons.

Samuel continued his squash career at Brown University as a walk-on. Following the COVID-canceled season, he earned a position in Brown's top nine for the remainder of his collegiate career, competing against many of the nation's strongest programs while helping sustain the team's competitive culture.

During his time at Brown, he worked with Coach Gaskin to coach junior players throughout the academic year and summer in the Providence community. He has also coached through SquashBusters and StreetSquash, mentoring students both on and off the court.

Outside of squash, Samuel works as a clinical research assistant in the Department of Urology at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he contributes to kidney cancer research while preparing for a career in medicine.
