Developmental Pathway

412 Squash is committed to the development of our athletes. The Junior Developmental Pathway illustrates our vision, philosophy, approach and structured progression for students ages 6-18 to achieve competitive success.

The pathway outlined below provide a detailed roadmap and insights about the frequency, commitment levels, and training schedules required for continued personal growth in the sport.

We believe that the path to success encompasses four essential components:

  1. Structured Group Clinics to learn strategy and tactics

  2. Personalized Weekly Private Lessons to work on biomechanics and technique

  3. Unstructured Open Play to practice and experiment and gain muscle memory with new skills

  4. Appropriate Skill-Based Competitive Play to provide students with opportunities to put their skills to test and be challenged to execute under pressure, develop a deeper understanding of shot selection and court awareness and gain confidence in refereeing and marketing.

Throughout the entire process, each student's journey is overseen by 412 Squash coaches who will design and develop personalized goals and areas of students' games to work on and improve each season.

Our coaching staff follows detailed curriculums and an educational student-centered approach that allows us to support the individual journey of every athlete in our program. We create a team culture cented on helping students of all ages, skill levels, and experience to reach their fullest potential and individual goals.
